May 2010 - Changes to GST Rates The government has just announced that as at 1st October 2010 GST is being increased to 15%. Joblink has the facilities already built in to conform to this 100%. In fact, unlike a lot of other systems, where you will need to go through and do a lot of altering of details and data on 30th September to be ready for the next day, Joblink's GST processes are designed to automatically use the correct rate based on the transaction date. Even if you enter a September dated transaction in October the correct GST Rate will be applied - there is absolutely NOTHING that you have to do in preparation for it.
April 2010 - Quality Assessment Module We have had some enquiries into a Quality assement module. We are currently engaged in the research of this as to feasibility and requirements. Our undretsanding, particularly in the Trade Industries, is that there is a major push by OSH and other organisations to have more streamlined requirements for this. If you are in this industry and are interested in being involved with the development of this by offering your expert advice on any other requirements please let us know. Feb 2010 - Mobile Joblink Remotelink Global is undertaking a full rewrite of the Mobile Joblink applications to run on Netbooks, laptiops and tablet PC's. Currently we have these available on Pocket PC's and Smartphones, but by utilising the new technology and hardware, like netbooks, we will be able to greatly enhance the ability of the Mobile solutions.
